Local Government Security
Government entities are targets when it comes to network security. There has been a significant uptick in cyberattacks on water and wastewater treatment facilities. Hospitals and health-related services have seen a high influx of ransomware attacks recently. Judicial systems have been stalled with DDoS attacks. Over 90,000 local governments in the United States, each offering a target for a cybercriminal, must do what they can to protect their networks and residents from attack.
Document Management
Most government entities are required to supply information to the public via a process. The specific laws for the states in which we work are listed below, but the general idea behind the laws is that requested documents must be supplied to the requester within a certain time frame. In many local municipalities, the records are physically stored. We have worked with these municipalities to develop solutions that maximized efficiency in their process of retrieving and providing the requested documents. Some of our solutions include front-end scanning to digitize and organize paper files. Other solutions allow for a back-end process to supply documents without losing access to your computers.
